VIDEO: Lane Kiffin of Ole Miss to challenge Nick Saban the most in Alabama’s 2020 regular season

He has history with Nick Saban and after three years at Florida Atlantic University, he has returned to the Southeastern Conference to challenge his former boss.

Despite LSU being the defending conference and national champions, Georgia having the most talented roster and Tennessee trending upward, Lane Kiffin enters a program in Mississippi that boasts the offensive talent to frustrate Alabama.

Ole Miss scored 31 points on the Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium last year and John Rhys Plumlee returns as the engine of the attack.

Defensively, the Rebels must locate some leaders.

Along with its offense, Kiffin would have the atmosphere of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to challenge Saban and he’s never shied away from taking shots. The biggest asset to Saban is his mental fortitude and ability to wear down opponents.

Kiffin has a mindset of his own and after not getting the opportunity to coach in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship matchup (2016 season) versus Clemson, he’ll use that as fuel to throw everything at Alabama.

On Friday, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine introduced the topic of the coach that would give Saban the hardest time on Alabama’s regular season schedule. Although I chose Kiffin via In My Own Words, who would your selection be?
