Alabama landed its sixth verbal commitment for the 2021 recruiting class last week in four-star outside linebacker, Ian Jackson from Prattville (Ala.) High School.
While multiple student-athletes unveiled their top four lists, the Crimson Tide is on the radar of Tim Keenan, Ga’Quincy McKinstry, James Brockermeyer and Tommy Brockermeyer among others for this cycle. Currently, Alabama has one five-star (Agiye Hall, wide receiver), a quartet of four-stars and one three-star in Anquin Barnes.

On Friday of last week, Justin Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was featured on In My Own Words with yours truly to discuss Jackson. As the lead scouting/recruiting analyst for TDA, Smith said Jackson is the ‘most versatile’ player in the class and that he reminds him of former Tide standout Mack Wilson. Smith also provided an update on the Brockermeyer twins, McKinstry, Keenan and Brian Thomas Jr., a four-star receiver from Louisiana.
Alabama is trying to land the No. 1 class in the nation or at least place in the top five.
