As dominant as the starters were for Alabama’s defense in 2016, it also had consistent role players who gave the team quality effort, energy and production throughout the season.
Players such as Da’Shawn Hand, Hootie Jones, Christian Miller, Mack Wilson and Anfernee Jennings helped the Crimson Tide shut down opposing offenses, capture a Southeastern Conference title and nearly assisted the program to a national championship.
