Lee (Montgomery) High School will have one of the biggest offensive lines in the state of Alabama this upcoming season and it will include a 6-4 345 pound junior, who could receive D1 attention soon.
Dimitri Mckee is coming off of a sophomore season, where he was one the Generals starting tackles. Lee finished the season with a 7-3 record with a balanced offense. The head coach of Lee Montgomery’s football team, Eric Hudson, said they like to use their offensive line in a variety of ways and McKee put that on display this past season.
At the right tackle position, McKee showed great mobility. In his highlight film, one can see him pull and serve as a lead blocker, seal block and use his wide frame to make it hard for edge rushers to get around him. Of course, there is still room for Mckee to grow as he is raw in some areas, but he is putting in work to improve.
A little bit of everything is going into McKee’s preparation for his junior season.
“I am working on everything,” McKee said. “I want to be quicker off the ball and gain more strength. I also want to get faster.”

McKee camped at Alabama last Summer and was looking to attend a couple of different camps this Summer, but camp cancellation due to COVID 19 has hindered his ability to do so. Whether its Power 5 or group of five, this Montgomery product could soon be on the receiving end of some Division 1 football offers.
