2021 3-star running back and Central Phenix City High School product (AL), Joseph McKay, has 14 Division 1 offers on the table, including offers from SEC powers, Alabama and LSU.
The Crimson Tide extended an offer to the in-state running back in April and were followed by Memphis and Texas A&M. Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class currently sits at eight commits and stands without a running back commitment. Nick Saban and company will be fine not grabbing a running back this cycle after landing three in the 2020 recruiting class but with the current football landscape and the transfer portal in mind, the Tide will most likely try to add at least one back.
