WATCH: TDA staff writers preview Alabama’s regular season finale versus Arkansas

Mac Jones drops back to pass versus Arkansas in 2019
Butch Dill - USA TODAY Sports

It has taken some twists and turns for this college football season to happen, but we have made it to the final regular season matchup for Alabama.

Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will travel to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium (Fayetteville, Ark.) on Saturday to face Sam Pittman and the Hogs. In his first year as head coach, Pittman has injected new life into the program. Despite a 3-6 record, Arkansas could easily be 6-3 and Pittman would be a candidate for Coach of the Year honors. During interviews with Saban and the players, no one for the Tide is taking the Razorbacks lightly. For the second time since 2009, Alabama eyes a perfect season.

The two of us discussed the playmakers for the Razorbacks, as well as the Tide’s opportunity to handle business and advance into the SEC Championship Game. Alabama is scheduled to meet Florida next week in Atlanta.
