Robbie Ouzts signed his National Letter with Alabama football Wednesday.
Ouzts is a product of Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is Alabama’s only tight end pledge in this class. Ouzts chose Alabama over Virginia Tech.
The South Carolina product has only visited Tuscaloosa once as a recruit. Ouzts toured the campus of the University of Alabama in June but was unable to have any in-person contact with the Tide coaches due current recruiting dead period. Fortunately, Miller Forristall was able to show the Ouzts family around campus.
At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, the Alabama signee is a physical athlete. He shows great tenacity as a blocker and shows promise as a receiving tight end. The South Carolina product was a multi-sport athlete at Rock Hill. The 3-Star recruit has a nice vertical and can snatch the ball away from smaller defenders in the air.
