Despite a deflating loss against LSU last Saturday, Florida is still confident it will be available to grab a win in Atlanta against Alabama in the SEC Championship.
A few players have expressed their confidence in the Gators sharing that they expect to be atop the conference when it’s all said and done.
Even head coach Dan Mullen is confident in his team’s ability to defeat the overpowering Crimson Tide team.
"We'll think about that on Saturday night after we win."

“We’ll think about that on Saturday night after we win,” Mullen said when asked if a two loss team can make the playoff. “I think LSU made it when there were only two teams with two losses, if I’m not mistaken. Does that sound about right? It was back in one of those years with the BCS. I thought they had two losses. Maybe I’m off on that one.
“Let’s see. We’ll worry about winning on Saturday night because that’s all we can control. What happens after that, we’ll see what happens next.”
Florida has not beaten Alabama since 2008 when they played in the SEC Championship and Mullen is looking to end the drought.
Or based on what he’s said, he expects to end the drought.
