We will have best on best in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
On Wednesday, student-athletes for Alabama and Ohio State both talked about how excited they are for the challenge of quality competition next week. Both schools know it will not be easy, and that is how they want it. The offensive and defensive lines are ready to limit the running backs, both quarterbacks (Mac Jones and Justin Fields) are set to dial up some plays, and you have two of the best head coaches in the sport.
However, the most intriguing battle will be between the wide receivers and defensive backs.

Smith has embarrassed the best defensive secondaries in the Southeastern Conference, especially when one looks at what he accomplished against Georgia, Auburn, LSU and Florida.
He totaled 100-plus yards receiving on all four — including a 200-yard performance (231) versus LSU. The senior collected 41 catches for 753 yards with nine touchdowns combined in all four games.
Wade, who stands at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, has 30 tackles and three pass breakups in seven games for the Buckeyes.
