It concluded the 2020 season with a College Football Playoff National Championship, but the University of Alabama is always focused on continuing its dominance.
On Thursday, five players announced they are heading to the NFL Draft. The group of Mac Jones, Jaylen Waddle, Christian Barmore, Patrick Surtain II and Dylan Moses will miss their teammates, but Nick Saban stated how each one made the best business decision as individuals. Names such as DeVonta Smith, Najee Harris, Deonte Brown and Alex Leatherwood among others are also pursuing the National Football League. Although it has student-athletes leaving, the Crimson Tide were happy to hear that Phidarian Mathis and Chris Owens have both decided to return to school for next season. Both players will have a tremendous impact on a team that looks to repeat as champions. Along with these two, fans are waiting decisions from Brian Robinson, Josh Jobe, Christopher Allen and LaBryan Ray on whether they will choose to return to Alabama for 2021.
