What does Alabama gain in 5-star Emmanuel Henderson’s commitment for 2022?

Last week, the University of Alabama picked up its fifth verbal commitment for the 2022 recruiting class.

Emmanuel Henderson, a running back via Geneva County High School, joined Ty Simpson as the second five-star prospect to commit to the Crimson Tide. Charles Kelly, Alabama’s safeties coach, was the primary recruiter for the in-state talent.

After getting Camar Wheaton for its 2021 class, the Tide continues to grab the best running backs.

On Monday, Justin Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was featured on In My Own Words to discuss the importance of Henderson’s verbal commitment. He spoke on what the young man can bring to Alabama’s offensive backfield.
