DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle are preparing for the NFL Draft, but the University of Alabama still has playmakers returning at the wide receiver position.

The Crimson Tide returns John Metchie, Slade Bolden, and Xavier Williams as veterans. Javon Baker is back as a talented sophomore, and Alabama signed three freshmen in this year’s class. Metchie is out to prove he can be the No. 1 option, while Bolden and Williams look to hold off the freshmen. If Baker can become a complete player, he will see a lot of action too.
Spring practice begins on Friday, as the Tide prepares to defend its national championship.
