On Wednesday, the school announced that Graham has resigned his position “effective immediately.”

He was hired in February to replace Jeff Banks as the tight ends coach and special teams coordinator. After helping the Crimson Tide win a national championship in 2020, Banks left Alabama to join Steve Sarkisian at Texas.
Graham, 45, was an All-SEC running back at the University of Tennessee from 1993-96.
He spent six seasons in the National Football League and started his coaching career in 2005 as a graduate assistant at his Alma mater.
Graham would then serve one-year stints at Miami (Ohio), UT-Martin, San Diego, and Chattanooga. He got his big break in 2009 when he became the running backs’ coach for South Carolina.
Graham was with the Gamecocks for three years (2009-11) before coming back to Tennessee in 2012. He would then bounce to Florida State (2013-17) and Texas A&M (2018-19).
He coached running backs and special teams for the Seminoles, earning a BCS National Championship in 2013 on Jimbo Fisher’s staff.
Graham spent last year with the Volunteers coaching running backs.
Tennessee was hit with multiple NCAA recruiting violations in January.
Ten members of the football program, including head coach Jeremy Pruitt, were fired.
No one has linked Graham to the incident, but he has officially resigned from Alabama’s staff. Nick Saban will have a press conference at 6:00 p.m. tonight after the Tide’s third practice of spring football.
