Leading up to the NFL draft scouts from multiple different outlets and teams dissect each player down to their last atom. Whether it’s warranted or not, the biggest talking points which circulate online are the negatives or criticisms relayed from the scouts.

For months now Alabama quarterback Mac Jones has heard all about his weaknesses, especially the jabs at his speed and athleticism.

But to the national champion and Heisman Trophy finalist, the scouting notes don’t matter to him and it was explained by his teammate Najee Harris.

“Does he see all this stuff? I’m pretty sure. But does it matter to him today? I don’t think so,” Harris said during an appearance on Good Morning Football. “As you could see what he did this year, I mean that wasn’t off of luck at all.”

Although the critics have shared their issues in Jones’ game for the past few months he is still eyed as one of the top quarterbacks available.

Reports swirled last Sunday that the San Francisco 49ers were reportedly choosing between Jones and North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance for the third overall pick in the draft.

Even if his flaws are heavily discussed Jones may be laughing his way to the bank come Thursday night.
