It pays to have confidence, and Jimbo Fisher has a lot of it.
As he enters his fourth season as head coach of Texas A&M, he told boosters and fans at the Houston Touchdown Club that the Aggies ‘will beat Nick Saban’s ass while he’s at Alabama.’
Fisher is 0-4 all-time versus his former boss, including three losses at Texas A&M. He will host Saban and the Crimson Tide at Kyle Field in the fall on Saturday, Oct. 9. The Aggies have lost to Alabama in four matchups at home. Texas A&M signed the No. 8 recruiting class nationally in February, and Fisher believes the group will help the program handle the Tide. He signed a 10-year, $75 million contract to have the Aggies competing for championships.
