After a bit of a rocky start a few weeks ago, New England Patriots first round pick Mac Jones looks as if he’s beginning to settle into NFL practices.
During the Patriots first day of mandatory mini-camps on Monday, Jones shined through the rainy weather as he completed 13 of 20 passes(including two drops) during the teams competitive period according to a report from NBC Sports.
Some revealing footage was also shared by NBC Sports’ Twitter account displaying Jones’ accuracy throughout the day.

When looking at the footage it is obvious that Jones was able to weather the rain a bit better than his competition in Cam Newton, who is also rebounding from a hand injury which caused him to miss some time.
One practice surely won’t be enough for anyone in the NFL to earn a starting role, but it was a solid first step for Jones has he begins his career.
