College athletes are getting an opportunity to capitalize off their likeness.
As exciting as it is, the University of Alabama does not want the name, image, and likeness deal to take the attention from a chance to win back-to-back national championships in football.
A couple of players have stated on social media that their focus is on the upcoming season, not the NIL. After seeing what Monkell Goodwine and Demouy Kennedy shared, one of the leaders for Alabama’s defense has now spoken.
Malachi Moore, a sophomore, is in a position to have a monster year in the fall.

His message was “Keep the man thing the MAIN thing” on Twitter.

Moore wants to win another national title, but he has a chance at some individual awards too.
Nick Saban is good at not letting external factors become distractions. No matter what happens, he will have the Crimson Tide well prepared to pursue a repeat as champions of college football.
Things are getting interesting in the sport that we love; however, Alabama looks to stay on target.
