Alabama football edged out Clemson for 2022 five-star linebacker, Jeremiah Alexander Thursday.
Alexander is the Crimson Tide’s tenth commit in the 2022 recruiting class. He is the fourth 2022 recruit from the state of Alabama to verbally commit to the Crimson Tide. The five-star recruit chose Alabama over offers from Clemson, Georgia and others.
The Thompson High School product is an interesting prospect, who is expected to bring versatility to Alabama’s defense. At 6-foot-2 and approximately 235 pounds, Alexander is built like an inside linebacker. But he has the strength and explosiveness to be an edge rusher or defensive end at the next level. Alabama could use him as an outside or inside linebacker in the future.
