The college football season is almost here.

Nick Saban and Alabama will address reporters at SEC Media Days next Wednesday, but the program will start preseason camp in three weeks. After securing a perfect season in 2020, the Crimson Tide is scheduled to have its first practice on Thursday, August 5. Despite having to replace some offensive weapons, Alabama is expected to have the best defense in the nation.

A few position battles will have everyone’s attention, especially the backup quarterback role. In recent years, we have seen freshmen rise and unexpected players step up in camp.

This process should create many interesting storylines as the Tide looks to repeat as national champions.
