To little surprise, Alabama remained atop the rankings in the AFCA Coaches Poll released Tuesday afternoon.
The Crimson Tide garnered 64 of the possible 65 first place votes with Georgia earning one after it’s 10-3 win over Clemson last Saturday.
Last weekend Alabama dominated Miami in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta with a lopsided 44-13 victory.
The SEC it tied with the Pac-12 with the most teams ranked inside the top 25 of the coaches poll with 5. The ACC, Big Ten and Big 12 are all tied with four teams representing each conference in the rankings.
