Christopher Allen (foot) is out for the rest of the season, but he is supporting his teammates in Alabama’s home opener against Mercer.
The redshirt senior at outside linebacker wished his brothers well on Twitter.
Good luck to all my boys playing today 🍀🤙🏾#rolltide

Allen, a native of Baton Rouge, La., had a dominant season in 2020. He led the Crimson Tide in tackles for loss (13) and totaled six sacks. He started the matchup against Miami strong, but sustained a foot injury in the first half and did not return. Drew Sanders, a sophomore, will start in his place. Alabama is getting reps for Chris Braswell and Dallas Turner (freshman) too.
Hopefully, Allen will return next season.
