Following its first road game of the season against Florida, Alabama was able to main the No. 1 ranking in both of the national polls following its 31-29 victory.
Both rankings were released Sunday morning with the Crimson Tide landing atop the USA Today Coaches Poll with 64 of the possible 65 first place votes. In the Associated Press’ rankings, Alabama grabbed 59 of the 62 possible first place votes.
Finishing behind Alabama in both rankings was Georgia who came off an impressive victory over South Carolina.
