Nick Saban chose violence at his Wednesday press conference, as he gave Alabama fans another quotable statement at the expense of reporters.

During his rant, he provided an update on freshman wide receiver Agiye Hall.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is one of multiple offensive players that fans want to see on the field.

He came in what has been dubbed as Coach Saban’s best recruiting class ever from Valrico, Fla. As a five-star athlete, Hall possesses the size, speed, body control, and explosiveness to be a star at the position.

He amazed fans at Alabama’s spring game, catching four passes for 72 yards. Hall captivated attention from ESPN’s commentary team of Kirk Herbstreit, Joey Galloway, and Joe Tessitore. People thought he became a starter at receiver; however, he backs up John Metchie III at the “X” position. According to Saban, Hall has performed better in practice and is improving as a player.

“We’d like to see Agiye become a part of the offense,” Saban said. “He’s getting better and better and he’s had some good weeks, so hopefully, he’ll be contributing sometime soon.”

We could see Hall on the field at some point. He has the toughness as a blocker and excels at making contested receptions.

Alabama needs a physical specimen, and Hall is about to get his opportunity.
