Nick Saban versus Lane Kiffin is the main storyline, but we have made it to Alabama/Ole Miss.
The Crimson Tide looks to make sure a repeat of 2020 does not happen. According to Las Vegas, Alabama has a -14.5 point spread, but it will be interesting to see how Bill O’Brien attacks Mississippi. The Rebels are improved on defense, but D.J. Durkin’s group has yet to be tested. After creating success for three years in Tuscaloosa (2014-16), how will Coach Kiffin be received at Bryant-Denny Stadium? The dynamic of the crowd might be split, yet it will be entertaining nonetheless.
RELATED: Alabama vs. Ole Miss Predictions
Two quarterbacks — Matt Corral (Ole Miss) and Bryce Young (Alabama) — are at the front of the Heisman talk.
Whoever plays with the most poise and controls the game will win. Some pregame notes for the Tide are below.
-Alabama’s starting five (plus Kendall Randolph) remains the same on its offensive line.
-Brian Robinson (ribs) will play against the Rebels. He is going through first-team warmups.
