STEPHEN M. SMITH / SENIOR REPORTER
Alabama 48– Texas A&M 10
Key Insight: “Alabama will have a complete game on offense and defense. Bill O’Brien will open up Bryce Young in the passing game. This is also a game from Brian Robinson and the Crimson Tide’s running backs. Defensively, Alabama will have discipline, execution, and relentless play.”
JUSTIN SMITH / SCOUTING/RECRUITING ANALYST
Alabama 51 – Texas A&M 17
Key Insight: “The Aggies have struggled on the offensive side of the football this season, especially in the passing game. Alabama’s defense should be able to capitalize on the Aggies’ inability to push the ball down the field. Look for Pete Golding and Alabama’s defense to dial up the pressure on Zach Calzada early. Alabama’s offense looked to have found its identity with a balanced attack. I do not expect the Crimson Tide’s run game to be heavily featured like it was against Ole Miss, but will be present.”
PATRICK DOWD / ALABAMA BEAT REPORTER
Alabama 41 – Texas A&M 17
Key Insight: “Despite injuries at key positions, Alabama has all the tools to enter Kyle Field and take care of business against a dwindling Texas A&M team. The team has pointed to the many lessons learned from its previous game against Florida and operating in a hostile environment. Last week’s contest against Ole Miss showed that Alabama is positioned to have a dominant run game which will lead the team to victory today.”
