Henry To’oto’o is at the center of one of the most respected rivalries in college football.
He started his career at the University of Tennessee and played for two years.
To’oto’o would transfer to Alabama during the offseason and has a chance to win a national championship. According to Nick Saban and Crimson Tide players, the California native has brought consistent communication on defense.
He leads the group for total tackles (54) and has three tackles for loss with one sack. To’oto’o produced his best performance against Mississippi State, recording a team-high 13 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack.
He knows how the Volunteers operate, despite Jeremy Pruitt no longer at the helm. Many of his former teammates are at Tennessee, and it makes the matchup emotional. To’oto’o can not only have teammates in a position to dominate, but he can also build his NFL Draft status.
He wants to play at the next level and consistent success will help him.
On Wednesday, Stephen Smith of TDA Magazine discussed To’oto’o and why the Tide needs a big outing from the junior linebacker via In My Own Words.
