Jackson listed USC and Alabama as his final two schools. The five-star recruit de-committed from USC on Nov. 14, but the Trojans are back in the mix to land Jackson after the hiring of Lincoln Riley.
Alabama hosted Jackson for an official visit earlier this month. After the visit, Jackson’s father told Touchdown Alabama he felt the Alabama football program represented the highest standard of college football.
“Alabama is the standard of what a college football program should be,” said Lee. “The organization structure is similar to that I was familiar with within the Marine Corps. There is leadership development, both professional and personal. All of this is a direct reflection of Coach Saban’s Leadership. It will help develop young boys into men.”
Jackson is one of the fastest prospects in the 2022 recruiting class. He holds the California state record in the 100-meter dash with a PR of 10.25.
