STEPHEN M. SMITH / SENIOR REPORTER

Alabama 38 – Georgia 28

Key Insight: “This is Alabama’s biggest challenge of the season, but the team will be ready to meet it. Offensively, the Crimson Tide will find ways to keep Georgia off balance, but it will take shots downfield. It all comes down to the offensive line. The group can win some one-on-one battles Defensively, Alabama will come after Stetson Bennett all game. Expect double-digit sack numbers and maybe a couple of turnovers.”

JUSTIN SMITH / SCOUTING/RECRUITING ANALYST

Alabama 24– Georgia 21

Key Insight: “It is simple. This game will be won and loss in the trenches. It is no way around the fact. The Crimson Tide’s offensive line will have to give Bryce Young some time to make some plays and have to establish some type of run game. That is going to be tough against a great Georgia defense, but the Crimson Tide may not have to operate at ultimate efficiency to win this game. Alabama’s defense has continued improved and could give Georgia’s offense some trouble by putting pressure on Stetson Bennett and slowing down Georgia’s rushing attack. I think this will be a defensive battle that Alabama will pull out late due to their experience in tight games.”

PATRICK DOWD / ALABAMA BEAT REPORTER

Alabama 21 – Georgia 24

Key Insight: “It has been an unusual season for Alabama. Despite having a record of 11-1 and a shot to make the playoff with a win in the SEC Championship game, it’s seesaw like season will catch up to them today against Georgia. The game is usually decided in the trenches and this is the perfect Bulldogs team to take advantage of a struggling Crimson Tide unit. It will be hard fought but Kirby Smart will finally get past Nick Saban today.
