Bryce Young is the fourth Heisman winner of the Nick Saban era for Alabama football.
He is the recipient of the 87th Heisman Memorial Trophy.
The sophomore quarterback for the Crimson Tide won over Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Kenny Pickett of Pittsburgh, and Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson with 684 of 875 (78.2 percent) first-place votes. Young becomes the first Heisman-winning quarterback for the Tide under Saban. Current and former Alabama players are reacting with sheer joy via Twitter after seeing Young win the award.
