It’s been a long stretch to weather but the Tennessee Titans could be getting its bell-cow back in the next few weeks.
It was reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Titans running back Derrick Henry is on track to return to the team by the start of the playoffs or perhaps even sooner.
More than a month after breaking his foot, #Titans star Derrick Henry is on track to return by the playoffs — or sooner.

Henry suffered a broken foot five weeks ago with the initial belief that he would be gone for the season. Since then the Titans have gone 2-2 in its past four games ahead of its bye-week break. The Titans are currently 8-4 and in first place in the AFC South.
Henry’s impact on the offense is quite measurable as he was the league’s leading rusher when he went out with injury. Despite missing the past four games, Henry is still fourth in the NFL in rushing yards with 937.
In his absence, the Titans have used a stable of running backs that’s included Adrian Peterson (now waived), Jeremy McNichols, D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard.
If Henry is to return by Week 18 of the season he would be suiting up against the Houston Texans.
