Fegans is a product of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. However, he is originally from Oxford, Alabama. He was once verbally committed to Miami but de-committed in October and committed to Alabama soon after.
Before committing to Miami, he told Touchdown Alabama he was receiving a lot of love from the Crimson Tide.
“They are showing a lot of love,” Fegans said. “They keep it real and are going to talk to you every day. They are not going to tell you any lies.”
Fegans finished his senior season with 45 total tackles, four interceptions and 12 pass deflections. He is listed at 6-foot-2 and weighs 180 pounds and is considered one of the best coverage defensive backs in the 2022 class. He is known for his ability to turn interceptions into scores.
