Jalen Hurts has rough moments, but he can be dynamic at quarterback when he is on.
He has the Philadelphia Eagles over .500 after today’s victory against the New York Giants. Hurts eliminated the Giants from playoff contention in the National Football League and has Philadelphia in the driver’s seat for a wildcard spot. He followed his performance versus Washington with a second stellar outing. Hurts completed 17 of 29 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns.

In a 34-10 victory over New York, Hurts found DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson for scores.

He targeted Smith seven times, and his former Alabama teammate caught five passes for 80 yards.
Hurts’ 5-yard scoring strike to Johnson had fans going crazy at Lincoln Financial Field. The 6-foot-1, 233-pounder is steadily showing Eagles’ beat reporters and national media he is the quarterback to get the franchise where it wants to be. Hurts has six games with 2+ touchdown passes and six matchups with a passer rating of 100 or better. He recorded back-to-back matchups with a 100+ passer rating for the second time this season. If the Eagles defeat Washington and Dallas, Philadelphia ends the regular season at 10-7 and makes the playoffs.
Hurts is guiding Nick Sirianni and the team to silence critics. He is two victories away from doing it.
