Luke Fickell is pursuing his first national championship as a head coach.

He has Cincinnati motivated to dethrone the defending national champions, Alabama football.

Both teams arrived in Dallas (Texas) on Sunday for final practices before the Cotton Bowl. The game will be Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

ESPN has the call at 2:30 p.m. CT. According to Twitter, Cincinnati will wear all black for the game.

Georgia was the last team to don all-black jerseys against the Crimson Tide in 2008. Scott Cochran, a former strength and conditioning coach for Alabama, made the statement, “They are wearing black because they are going to a funeral.”

Alabama dominated Georgia, 41-30, at Sanford Stadium that year. Alabama fans reacted to Cincinnati’s decision via social media.
