Nick Saban represents college football as the greatest head coach of his generation.
He eyes his eighth national championship – seventh with Alabama – and has the Crimson Tide looking to repeat as champions. Saban has pulled the maximum effort from a team most considered would have a “down year” after a loss to Texas A&M.

His swagger is second to none in coaching, but he gave his players a lesson in style as the team arrived in Indianapolis.
The 70-year-old sported a brown leather jacket that amazed Tide fans on Twitter. People complimented Saban’s look as he’s focused on the big picture. Jordan Battle, a junior, said Saban’s jacket ‘brought joy to his heart.’

“His jacket was very cool,” Battle said. “I haven’t seen Coach Saban in style like that.”
Battle, a South Florida native, knows a lot about style and flavor. Bryce Young, a sophomore quarterback, had to give Saban his props. The California native said Saban being fly ‘is to be expected.’
“Coach’s jacket was fine,” Young said. “Coach is always going to step into something we haven’t seen before as a team.”
Brian Robinson, a fifth-year senior, said it was the first time he saw Saban wear that jacket.
“We knew it was going to be real cold outside,” Robinson said. “He told us to grab a coat. We reacted to — that was the coat he grabbed to keep him so warm for that time being down here.”
Saban and Alabama are excited about the atmosphere to play at Lucas Oil Stadium.
They are excited about the challenge of facing Georgia again, and Saban told reporters that players are focused on this opportunity. He swagged out for his arrival, but Saban is strictly business.
He is one win away from surpassing Paul “Bear” Bryant for national championships at Alabama.
