Eli Ricks is one of the new pieces for Alabama football that is excited to get the Crimson Tide back on top.

He transferred in from Louisiana State University and is excited to get to work. Ricks totaled four interceptions at cornerback during his freshman season in 2020. An injury limited him to six games in 2021, but Ricks totaled one pick and one pass breakup.

The 6-foot-2, 196-pounder has five career interceptions and six breakups.

As a California native, Ricks fits in well with Bryce Young and Traeshon Holden. He posted on social media that the 2022 season ‘will be crazy.’ Ricks is poised to have a marquee impact in Alabama’s defensive secondary. It will be interesting to see how he fits in, especially with the Tide losing Josh Jobe and possibly Jalyn Armour-Davis (redshirt junior) to the NFL Draft.

Crimson Tide fans are excited to start the offseason after a tough CFP title game loss to Georgia.
