Seven notable names are in the transfer portal for Alabama, but it has great news too.
According to respectable sources, Touchdown Alabama Magazine has learned Cameron Latu is expected to forgo the NFL Draft and return to the Crimson Tide for the 2022 season. As a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Latu has blossomed into a productive tight end. He made the transition from defense to offense in the summer of 2020 and became an impact player in 2021.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder finished with eight touchdowns, which tied him for second on the team. Latu posted 410 yards receiving on 26 catches. He recorded a touchdown reception in Alabama’s College Football Playoff matchups versus Cincinnati and Georgia. Latu has chemistry with Bryce Young and can turn himself into a first-round talent for the 2023 NFL Draft.
