Dallas Turner arrived at the University of Alabama as a five-star linebacker from South Florida in the 2021 recruiting class.
The Crimson Tide witnessed a dominant freshman season from Will Anderson in 2020, but Turner surpassed some of Anderson’s numbers last year. He played in 15 games – three starts – and totaled 30 tackles, ten tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and five quarterback hurries. Turner was one of four players that finished in double-digits in tackles for loss.

He posted 1.5 more sacks than Anderson as a freshman. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder collected 5.5 of his 8.5 sacks in matchups versus Auburn, Georgia (SEC Championship), Cincinnati (CFP Semifinal), and Georgia again (CFP National Championship).
Turner made the Freshman All-SEC team and earned Freshman All-American honors from the Football Writers Association of America. He is prepared to have a huge spring and a dominant sophomore year.
