Seven players found a new home, while Jaylen Moody removed his name from the portal and stayed at Alabama. Lee, a Maryland native, announced on Instagram his decision to commit to the USC Trojans. He joins Paul Tyson (Arizona State) and Tommy Brown (Colorado) in choosing a Pac-12 program. Lee brings experience as a starting linebacker to the Trojans defense.
He started in 2019 for the Crimson Tide and earned Freshman All-American honors. Lee posted 86 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and one interception. He would not achieve this level of production in 2020 or 2021, but Lee was a core special teams player. He was on two SEC Championships teams and one national title squad.
