Ty Perine becomes the latest name for Alabama football to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

After hitting a 51-yard boot, he ran down the field and made the tackle. Perine’s excellence as a specialist impressed Tide fans.

He totaled 13 punts that season for 581 yards. Perine averaged 44.7 yards per punt with three boots going 50+ yards.

Despite his success, he did not see the field in 2020 or 2021. Perine was on two SEC Championship teams and one College Football Playoff National Championship team.
