Shannon Sharpe says he was wrong on Tua Tagovailoa, doesn’t see greatness in Dolphins quarterback

A lot hinges on the upcoming season for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. As he enters his third year in the league, he is working with his second coach with a lot to prove if he wants to have a future in Miami.

When Tagovailoa was originally being evaluated for the 2019 NFL Draft, scouts and analysts alike were raving about the southpaw’s ability after his fantastic career as the quarterback at Alabama.

One analyst who consistently defended Tagovailoa’s flaws and injury history was Fox Sports 1 commentator Shannon Sharpe. But two years later, Sharpe appears to have changed his tune on the former Crimson Tide quarterback as he has now lost faith in his ability to be great at the position.

During a segment on Sharpe’s show Undisputed, while debating Skip Bayless, he admitted that he was wrong about Tagovailoa and that he doesn’t see greatness in him.
