Tracking Alabama football alums in 2022 NFL free agency

The new year has arrived in the National Football League, and several Alabama football alums have made moves.

According to reports, we have seen some former Crimson Tide players sign to new teams, re-sign to current teams, and get released from programs in hopes to find a new home. Listed below is what has happened thus far in the free agency period.

Tracking Alabama alums in NFL free agency

-Amari Cooper: WR, traded from Cowboys to Cleveland Browns

-Mack Wilson: LB, traded from Browns to New England Patriots

-Cam Robinson: OT, returns to Jaguars on a franchise tag

-Cam Sims: WR, re-signed to Washington Commanders

-Shaun Dion Hamilton: LB, re-signed to Detroit Lions

-Levi Wallace: CB, signed to Pittsburgh Steelers

-O.J. Howard: TE, leaves Buccaneers to sign with Buffalo Bills

-Julio Jones: WR, released by the Tennessee Titans

-Anthony Averett: CB, leaves Ravens to sign with Las Vegas Raiders

It will be interesting to see which team lands Julio Jones in free agency.
