Alabama quarterback Bryce Young likes Bill O’Brien and believes in him as an offensive coordinator.
Nick Saban decided to hang onto O’Brien for a second season. He made some head-scratching play calls in 2021, but O’Brien also helped the Crimson Tide win a Southeastern Conference Championship. He put Young in a position to throw for 4,000+ yards and produced two 1,000+ yard receivers in Jameson Williams and John Metchie.
Some Tide fans wanted O’Brien out of Tuscaloosa, but the majority are willing to give him a second year.
Touchdown Alabama Magazine conducted a poll on Twitter and fans voted on whether O’Brien would fare better in year two as a coordinator. Eighty-two percent of fans voted “Yes” in 398 total votes.
Do you believe Alabama’s offense will be better in year two under Bill O’Brien?

Coach Saban had three offensive play callers to lead Alabama to national championships in their second season.
O’Brien has an opportunity to achieve the feat in the fall.
