As a South Carolina native, he has three Southeastern Conference Championship rings (2018, 2020, 2021) and a College Football Playoff National Championship ring from the 2020 season. Wynn was an impactful player at T.L. Hanna High School (South Carolina) and IMG Academy, but he did not see much action for the Crimson Tide. An injury limited him to three games in 2018, but Wynn played a combined 18 games in the next three years. He finished with five tackles and a quarterback hurry in 2021.
