Hall of fame defensive back Ed Reed spoke out about the controversial comments made by Jack Del Rio over the weekend and while doing so lumped Alabama head coach Nick Saban into the mix.
Today, im sick and tired! A dust up! 100,000 is not enough, money ain’t nothing to a person who is recycled through coaching. Its always one, first it was Saban now its Jack to just remind US what it is! Man if u coached by him put your pants on! Its simple right and wrong, Wrong

Reed posted a tweet stating, “Today, I’m sick and tied! A dust up! 100,000 is not enough, money ain’t nothing to a person who is recycled through coaching. It’s always one, first it was Saban now it’s Jack to remind US what it is! Man if you coached by him put your pants on! It’s simple right and wrong, Wrong.”
Del Rio, who serves as the defensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders, was fined $100,000 last week after referring to the events of Jan. 6, 2021 at the United States Capitol as a “dustup.”
Saban was in his own mix of controversy earlier this summer where he claimed that Texas A&M bought its entire recruiting class utilizing name, image and likeness while also claiming that Jackson State had paid a top recruit $1 million to play under head coach Deion Sanders. The Crimson Tide coach apologized for his comments shortly afterward.
