It is nothing like seeing talented quarterbacks stick together.
Robert Griffin III was a college football legend. He made the Baylor Bears relevant in the Big 12 and collected several individual honors in 2011. Griffin won the Heisman Trophy, Davey O’Brien Award, Manning Award, AP Player of the Year, Sporting News Player of the Year, Consensus All-American, and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. He was a superstar in college, but injuries cut his career short in the pros. Griffin was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders). He played eight seasons in the National Football League with Washington (2012-15), Cleveland Browns (2016), and Baltimore Ravens (2018-20).

Griffin is now an analyst for ESPN, and the 32-year-old likes Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa, like Griffin, endured injuries in college and pro, but Griffin sees the talented from the Alabama football alum. Some media pundits do not believe Tagovailoa can become an elite-level quarterback. Griffin sees Tagovailoa as a star on the rise in the NFL.
He said Tagovailoa will “make a big leap” this season because the Dolphins have invested in him.
Tua will make a BIG LEAP this year because the @MiamiDolphins set him up for success better than any other young QB. Surrounded by playmakers like Tyreek, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson, and Mike Gesicki, IMPROVED PROTECTION and a stable of running backs to show the NFL who he is.

Miami has invested a strong coaching staff, offensive talent, and defensive talent around Tagovailoa. He now has Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedric Wilson, Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, and Mike Gesicki with him.
The Dolphins also improved its offensive line with Terron Armstead.
Crimson Tide fans want to see Tagovailoa dominate at this level, and we will see in the fall what he does.
