McDaniel wants to make Tagovailoa a superstar in the league, and his peers want to see him excel. After the work he put in during training camp, Tagovailoa earned team captain honors for this year. The Miami Dolphins announced its team captains Thursday via social media. As a former first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa is excited to prove his critics wrong about him.

He is prepared to take over the league as a young signal-caller.
