He earned several individual honors for his performance against the Baltimore Ravens, but Tua Tagovailoa received a unique award on Wednesday that had his teammates hyped up.
The third-year quarterback for the Miami Dolphins won Nickelodeon Valuable Player honors. As a popular children’s network, Nickelodeon has teamed up with the National Football League to show sports content with a child and family dynamic.

It aired the NFL Wild Card games and introduced the slime end zone. After his career outing, Tagovailoa’s teammates dumped slime on him as Nickelodeon enjoyed his game. He thanked the network for choosing him as its Valuable Player from the matchup.

Tagovailoa had a career-high 469 passing yards and six touchdowns versus the Ravens.
