New England fell to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, but it also lost its starting quarterback to an injury.

Mac Jones hobbled off the field with a sprained ankle.

He looked in serious pain entering the locker room, but X-rays did not reveal any significant damages. Bill Belichick, Patriots head coach, has Jones as ‘day-to-day,’ but the team will travel to Lambeau Field on Sunday to face the Green Bay Packers.

Jones had three interceptions against Baltimore, but he is the best option New England has at quarterback.

According to Mike Giardi of NFL Network, Belichick said Jones has made ‘a lot of progress in 24 to 48 hours’ with his ankle.

The team continues to take him day by day, but it is encouraging news for the former first-round pick. We will see if Jones takes the field this weekend.
