He is soaring in his third season with the Miami Dolphins, but Tua Tagovailoa represents Alabama football.
As a former national champion and 2018 Heisman finalist, he clapped back at a Bengals fan who screamed ‘f-ck Bama’ on Wednesday as the Dolphins face Cincinnati this weekend. Tagovailoa will match up with Joe Burrow for the first time since the Crimson Tide hosted LSU in 2019. Both quarterbacks put on a show at Bryant-Denny Stadium, despite the Tide falling short.

Tagovailoa’s response to the fans was classic. “Y’all lost to us,” he said.

Alabama earned a 24-6 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl last season. Miami grabbed a 19-7 victory over the Bengals during Tagovailoa’s rookie season in 2020. It should be an exciting matchup between Tagovailoa and Burrow.
