Alabama returned sophomore JoJo Earle to action versus Arkansas, but it will get another receiver back for Texas A&M?
Crimson Tide fans have been waiting for Tyler Harrell to make his debut.
He arrived in the summer as a transfer from Louisville and one of the nation’s most explosive playmakers. Harrell, a South Florida native, averaged 29.1 yards per catch in 2021 for the Cardinals and totaled six touchdowns. He excels at creating separation from defensive backs with his speed. Harrell suffered a foot injury in the preseason and has not played this season.
He has practiced all week for the Tide, and the Texas A&M matchup sets up as one where we may finally see him in action.
According to Alabama’s depth chart for the Aggies, Harrell is the backup to Jermaine Burton at the “X” position at receiver.
JoJo Earle is a co-starter at slot receiver with Kobe Prentice for Alabama.
